Does anyone know of any Canadian breeders in the US? Specifically, one that has a quality stud and sells proven, fresh cooled semen? My ill-fated attempt at A.I. with...

Wow, just got off of the phone with Register.com our hosting site and they are having problems and doing maintenance in the daytime. Maintenance was planned for tomorrow night...sorry for the inconvenience! Please refer to our Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/storybookhorsefarm or message me for more information about our stallions and breeding services.

Laura Roberts-Baier, Storybook Horse Farm has several very traditional old style Canadian Stallions and they are just an overnight FedEx away from Michigan. The oldest and considered the most pure of the remaining bloodlines is the Lou bloodline. We have Phantom, the grandson of Lou himself available for breeding. Phantom throws smaller horses with awesome temperaments and movement. Please let me know more about your breeding goals and I can help you find the right stallion for your mare.

FYI. Don't limit yourself unnecessarily to stallions located in the US. You can also easily ship from Canada as well. We have shipped cooled fresh semen from Kamloops BC successfully to the US before. See our Cherry Creek Canadians FB page https://www.facebook.com/cherrycreekcanadians?ref=bookmarks If one uses FedEx to ship with, it is very simple and there are no import limitations shipping Canadian semen into the US (whereas there ARE import limitations shipping US semen into Canada). It is considered a Canadian product so there is also no tariffs or duty on it because of the Canada/US free trade agreeement. It is surprsingly simple.

Although you had a crappy experience with frozen semen, I also recommend Deb Ottier of Iron Horse Equine Reproduction Services. She is EXTREMELY experienced and capable! We have worked with her in the past and she has been awesome to work with. She has semen from many Canadian Horse stallions stored there: http://www.ironhorseequine.com/

Their names are Prince and Royalty and they are at our Stallion Station ready for collection and shipment. We have several other stallions available that we can provide shipped fresh semen from. Please contact us for analysis of your breeding goals and match making help to pick the right stallion for your mare.
