Wearing Birkenstock shoes has gotten rid of my plantar fasciitis. I know, they're ugly. But the negative heel and arch support really make a huge difference. And there are stretching exercises you can look up online that help a LOT.

Just to follow up...I called Dr. Conway's office and they were closed until the 28 th. So I tried Dr. Brandi Johnson and had my appointment this afternoon. She was amazing. I had a steroid shot (which was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be....nothing to it! ) and I will have a follow up in two weeks! I am optimistic. Thank you to all of you for your comments and advice!
