I was told that Karuk isn't taking new patients that they are full and referring people to Redding, and Fairchild Clinic does but I am on a waiting list til May of 2017! They have Orajel (gel in a tube) at Walmart that you apply on it and it numbs the pain, easy but nasty tasting but it will do the job til you can get in to a place! Good Luck!

the guy in ft jones was crap. When my son (who is ADHD and Asperger) would not settle down in like 5 minutes, he wanted to tie my son to the chair. No thanks. and he nearly killed my hubby. double no thanks. we are going to Dorris clinic now, but they don't do sedation; they do accept medical/partnership health and Dr. Klaussen is great.

You might try Dr Larry Meyer in Yreka.

There are very few dentists that accept medical in the county and Dr Larry Meyer isn't one of them. Your choices are the dentist in McCloud or Dr Mcgaughey in Mt Shasta or ANAV in the valley. That's about it.

Just gonna throw this out there.... You get what you pay for! In dang near anything. Cheaper is not always better. Much of the work Dr Stark did on me recently, was fixing teeth that were in danger to falling out due to crappy work by other locals....

I like Dr.Langford. he is very low key and doesn't push you to have thousands of dollars worth of work done "preventatively". My dentist in San Diego always presented me with a treatment plan (usually about $5,000-6,000) to repair every single issue whether it was causing problems or not. I like Dr. Langford's approach.

Had packets sent to me from the ANAV clinic (Fort Jones/Cortz Valley) for myself & 3 children. All they wanted was a copy of my drivers license & all 4 of our BIC (blue & white medi-cal card). It said NOT to send a copy of your partnership card. Mailed them out... Waited a week, called to make sure they received them and got an appointment in March. Or Western Dental in Redding.

I don't know what you need done but Affordable Denture in Redding does, and they are WAY cheaper if you have to pay cash to get a tooth pulled--100 there, and 275 in Ashland at Premiere Care.
