I get mine for my dogs that's in pill form and last 3 months at my vet. Country Vet in Sutter.
Starr H. replied:
I use Bravetco for my dogs. Maybe you could call the vet and use Pet Meds online. It has to come from the vet, but a phone call could eliminate the cost of the visit. You would need to know the weight of the animal. I haven't had a problem this year. I have been using food grade diatomaceous earth on their food. You can also sprinkle it around the yard to kill insects.
Tanya H. replied:
I use the Amber Flea Collars, which last around a year and works wonderfully on our dogs and they are all natural, so they are safe for humans as well! Here is where I buy them from: AmberCrown.com

Cherie S. replied:
We love Dr. Davies - he has been great with our furry kids and he's more reasonable than most.
Cherie S. replied:
Dr. Black has pulled two teeth on our Josh who is a miniature poodle.
Cherie S. replied:
Don't like Yuba Sutter vet - they were bought out a few years ago. They have great hours but have gotten expensive. Had to take my cat to get a shot for his allergies. One shot, over $100. Did a puppy package with them - we had rescued our Josh. He had fleas, ear infection and eye infection. They didn't diagnose his ear infection the first visit - went back since we knew he wasn't feeling well. Second visit they did diagnose. They were only going to clean out the right ear, they started cleaning out the left by accident and there was all kinds of crud. They ended up cleaning both ears but only because they cleaned out the left by accident and when I saw all the gunk I said something. I would go there on a Sunday only if I had an emergency.

Dr Jen (Jennifer Powers-Maples) in Palo Cedro or Rob Lydon in Shingletown...are excellent vets...also Dan Chapman is good choice... all are certified AERC head vets to!
Julie N. replied:
Jen is tough to get in for new clients. Dan Chapman and Rob Lydon are both great choices. Although if Rob get's elected to Congress his practice may suffer. So Dan Chapman would be a good choice.
Willi H. replied:
I agree also with Dan Chapman, know him from different Endurance Rides.

Dr Davies Animal Hospital it's right there behind Tractor Supply and Lowes I took my baby there because I took him to another vet and he said that he had hip dysplasia so I wanted to get another word and she said no he just has a little bit of inflammation in his hip to it so she gave him some medicine for it and it was only 80 bucks for that in the office visit really good deal
We actually use both Davies and Country Vet. Dr. Black at Davies is great - he diagnosed our female poodle with diabetes and saved her life!! We used Country vet for our JayJay who had back issues and they offer laser treatments which helped him. Both are great vet offices!!

Please help I am Looking for a good veterinarian here in yuba city my brothers dog is sick if any body knows a good place please let me know thanks
Charlotte C. replied:
Feather river and milbradt are the only places I will take my dogs. Most vets here suck. Took my husky to north point for emergency care he pulled his staples which could be visibly seen and I had to Call UC Davis to get clearance for them to restaple. When they came to get him to take him inside they played ring and the car with him to get him out. I finally picked him up and put him on the stretcher. VCA is just money hungry and the worst place to go. What is wrong with your brothers dog? If he can wait till Monday call milbradt it's in live oak. They are fairly good at getting in same day Feather River has been booked the last few times I have needed to have my dogs seen
ISO best veterinarian in town! Willing to drive to anderson as well please post the name of the vet and if you know the office visit fee (most vets charge one) please...
