The one time that I needed some major dental work done after a car accident I used Dr. Mark Olbina. He was very professional, did a fantastic job on a crown for me (front tooth) that is still going strong since 1993!!!

Dr. Olbina is excellent! He is thorough, gentle and will not try to talk you into having unnecessary work done.

Robert Friedman is who I use. He's a no nonsense practical Dentist. I have had root canals and crowns with no issues and great results. Great office staff imo.

I have used Robert Friedman for at least 10 yrs and love him and his whole staff. Painless, I say.

We love Yulee Family Dentistry. We are pleased with service and price. BTW we don't use dental insurance and are still pleased with price.

Amelia Dental...All the dentist are good. My kids see Kitson, I use Owens who is retiring, just used Beitenholz for an emergency..same day cap and was great, and husband's dentist is Van Etta... Can't go wrong... I have had a bad experience at a local office here...but not Amelia Dental. Good luck.

Amelia Dental does take insurance, just call to see if they take your plan. They do take all health savings plans...and I believe they have a payment plan through a company..

Since I left Gellman, I went over to Aspen Dental. Absolutely terrific.

My husband owns Yulee Family Dentistry. Obviously, I'm a little bias, but he and his staff care a lot about their patients and do great work there. Southeastern dental is awesome! I've never had to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room and the staff is fantastic. They let you know exactly what to expect and are upfront about their prices on everything. They do all surgeries and everything on site and schedule things quickly. I highly recommend them!

Carolina Lakes has been great.

Carolina Comfort will work with you, like half down and pay the rest over a couple paydays! You could call and ask, they are awesome!

Shands/Uf Health can let their students work on you for significantly less. The dental clinic is downtown- never been. Surgeries such as tooth pulling can be done on North side or downtown in Maxillofacial dept. My tooth was pulled by my surgeon last week for $150. You can also apply for a "Shands Card." It's a financing/low cost/ sliding scale program for the uninsured. I learned about it from a caseworker last year during a long hospital stay. Luckily, I had insurance, but she didn't know that. So, passing this info along, since most people don't have dental insurance.

Not sure about low cost but we go to Jonathon Gordon on 17 at Yulee Family Dentist (he took over for Dr. Jeff) and he is a very good dentist and very nice, so is everyone that works in his office.
