There is ONLY 1 recommendation. Joe Canfield at Hi Tech. 684-1556. He is the best in more ways than 1. Honest, fair, reliable. Does the job right the first time. Wont overcharge. He has your back and that's why he has the stellar reputation. Tell him I said so!

Tire Choice has ripped me off twice, never again. Joe Canfield at Hi Tech. 684-1556. They are the best and honest!
Dan S. replied:
Same happened to my family. It was a total rip off. Shane Suarez is my personal mechanic and a very honest guy. Contact him if you want an honest opinion. TC gave us a giant list of stuff we did not need. Shane looked at it all and told us what we only really needed.

NOOOOOOOO please stay away from Tire Choice in Fishhawk. They really messed up my sons car and then wanted tons of money, thousands yea like my teenager has any money, to fix it. They are horrible there and I think the only reason they are still there is because of the new people who move in and have not been warned yet. Hi Tech Auto is always the name that comes up for honest work.
Paige H. replied:
You know it's bad when a former employee at Tire Choice is told by his doctor to quit his job or it was going to kill him. He couldn't take the stress of lying to his neighbors but the "main office" gives mandates of quotas....he had to quit his job on this economy because he couldn't look his neighbors in the face anymore.

Always take your car to Joe Canfield at Hi Tech. 813.684.1556. Joe is honest and trustworthy. Also a FH resident. I have a cleaning company with 6 cars, all but two are more than 10 years old with over 150, 000 miles and Hi Tech keeps them all running well at a fraction of dealer cost.

Melissa, I think Tire Choice should go out of business and you guys open a second location there!!LOL

I have been using Southbay Auto on Big Bend and Rt. 301 next to Panera Bread. They have always been honest with me and have even said somethings did not need to be done for a while and saved me a lot of money.
Sandy C. replied:
Thanks for all the great feedback!! I promise I tell new comers not to go to Tire Choice!!!
Scott N. replied:
I've used Riverview Tire (on 301 and Riverview Dr) for over 20 yrs, they also own Hancock Tire on Bloomingdale, They are very honest and have the best tire prices I've ever found. They have been in business on 301 for over 40 yrs.

Larry W. replied:
If you're looking for awesome honesty, try Hancock Tire & Auto on Bloomingdale just west of Providence on the north side of the road. After a certain unnamed national chain lied to my wife and told her she needed $800 in immediate repairs to her brakes (I was out of town & they even told her that they were afraid to put it back together and that she might not make it home), I told her to take it directly to Hancock. They told her there was nothing wrong with it, and didn't even charge her to look it over. This is not the only good honesty story I have about these folks. They do good work and don't even try to upsell you.
Pete B. replied:
I wouldn't let Tire Choice within a mile of my cars !!!

Go see Scott at A1 Express Lube across from Harbor Freight...he is very honest...Took care of my FIL's brakes at a great price..Friend of ours took her Hyundai there..He ran diagnostics which said the ABS pump was bad....New ABS pump is $1700 and labor would have brought total to $2000. Scott called Hyundai and set it up so she could take the car to Hyundai to get fixed under warranty...He could have made money but he did the right thing !!!
Pete B. replied:
Tire Choice is close by BUT total rip off !!! Stay away !!!
Leslie F. replied:
Sounds like Hi-tech is pretty good but I'm a fan of Bennett's Auto Care - independent small shop that saved me $1200 on an AC job
