UBER drivers - 30% cheaper than taxi. I am an UBER driver since losing work --- drove like mad for everyone during Holidays. Cars must be clean, drivers have passed background, registration and insurance testing. Uber can deliver to airport but not pick up, which is correct although some drivers will arrange to pick you up and start the "fair" outside of the airport. Hey Joshua, I use carrentals.com for all rentals including SA, they have the best rates and usually Avis has the best rate on the site anyway. I've also usually gone with Avis in SA or Eurocar. I live in Irving and my Afrikaans is not great, but if no one else can help you out I can teach you some basics. Cheers and enjoy your trip!

Andre- Yea the amount of Afrikaans I picked up is just from travels through Southern Africa. Same as my Zulu. I just really want to be let's say at least half fluent (ha ha). I have been trying to make it to a braai, Kevin Jackson has invited me to many, and I have yet to make it out due to my strange schedule & sometimes poor memory.
