The BEST 1 could mean many things. As in greatest results/ lowest fees or Same results, no fees. My advice would be to take a "Public defender" 1st (if possible) and C what *free* Legal representation can negotiate 4U *1st*. . . If U don't like that U can ALWAYz change/hire new Legal representation on your own anytime ! It won't work the other way around though. I say this BCUZ I've seen "P.D.'s" negotiate the SAME plea bargain offers as an expensive Lawyer does. Or a "P.D." will get a plea bargain 4U & U reject it & hire your own attrny. paying SEVERAL THOUSAND dollars & the only difference N the offer is a month or 2 less of probation. Is forking out several grand worth that? (probably not) However not all cases R the same & not all Ppl get equal punishments for the same crime. THE BEST Lawyer is an honest 1 ! 1 that won't keep draining yer money 4 every little thing. --Steve Willoughby is THE BEST in my opinion. He's sharper than a razor & has decades of experience. He won't cost an arm & a leg either.
