Does anyone remember The Pom Pom
Restaurant and where it was?
Anne C. replied:
Linda Arends is your husband names Irv and do you live in the west end.?
Allen H. replied:
I recall it being named Jay's Pom-Pom in the 1950's. It was Riley's Wagon Wheel in the 1960's. A smorgasbord run by Howard and Odessa Riley. They have long ago passed away. A son Richard died in a car train accident. His wife Virginia waitressed there. She had a bad leg from her and Richard being T-boned on their BMW motorcycle. The protruding cylinder protected Richard. The parents had another son or two. Anybody know what became of any of them?
