If you want a very one-on-one connection call Dr. Scott Hopf 475 4270 He is also at 500 Davis, across from Davis St. Fish Market. Doc H is a WONDERFUL guy, an Evanston family guy, he donates dental care to kids at ETHS. As a dentist, he is very conscientious and keeps you 100% informed every step of the way. He has done several crowns for me and they have all been perfect, including my front four teeth! He has close professional relationships with the BEST perio guy ever (Dr. Nouneh) and also with a truly exceptional endodontist (Dr. Paul Bery) You need any other info about Doc Hopf, just call or message me! Hope all's well in the 'hood!!

I have family members who went to another dentist listed in this thread and meh, I'll take the friendly, gentle, thorough, aware of your wallet, friendly & easy to talk to intellectual anytime over snobbery and a toy chest. He's the neighborhood dentist not the buying second Mercedes dentist.

Dr. William Born is terrific and has 5 of his own kids. He's been my dentist longer than I've been married. When our son was little he would have him sit on a dental stool next to him to "help" on our teeth and make it less scary when it was his turn. He understands kids and is a friendly dental geek who loves answering kids questions. Plus he has a parking lot.
