There is one at: India A-1 Grocery 4815 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA. Not great, but sufficient for my needs. Apart from that, you have to search for Patel Brothers in Fairfax. I am sure there might be some in Reston/Herndon.

Food next door at IndAroma is tasty!

there are lots of smaller ones in Herndon with varying quality/selection. For a larger selection of Indian (and many other Asian) foods, check out [Lotte Plaza](http://www.lotteplaza.com/). There are several locations. I've only been to the one in Chantilly which is enormous.

Not sure if it is mentioned here, but my neighbors who are Indian once took me to a grocery store in Hyattsville next to Woodlands. Woodlands is 8046 New Hampshire Ave Hyattsville, MD 20783 It's right next door and has a lot of dried goods as well as one row of refrigerated foods. I got a kick out of taking pictures of funny named foods like Gudballs.
