It's hard to hear each other in our current venue. It also needs parking. Everyone does order something to eat, not just drinks. Does anyone here have such a place? Or can recommend such a place?   http://www.ksonthekeys.com This place has a separate area (very quiet) that would suit your needs. Last time I was there, the room was no charge, all that was required was each person needed to order food

  They have a nice private room. It's free when you buy meals, they can provide projector and sound system. We organized a retirement party there, it was excellent. They charge menu cost plus 5$. We had a salad, a stuffed chicken, dessert, coffee for under 40$/ person. http://www.ksonthekeys.com/
