  Pretty much what Stephen said. Go to www.bellyup.com and check out their calendar. LA has a great roots scene. Honkytonk Hacienda and Viva Cantina are a couple of great shows. Both are on Thursdays. Check out Don The Beachcomber ' s calender too. Plus I may have something brewing too :)
