  Can anyone recommend a mobile vet that can euthanize a cat? Our sweet kitty is 19 years old and it appears it is time to let her go. I'd prefer to have it done in our home so she can peacefully pass in her favorite chair by the window. She has always been an indoor kitty and is terrified of car rides (vet trips were always tough). I found her when she was just 4 weeks old back in 1996 and she's been with us ever since. My heart hurts that we have to say goodbye so I thought having it done at home would be best so she's comfortable and not stressed. Thanks in advance

  I went through this last year and asked for recommendations as well. I used Dr. Lynn Hendrix of Beloved Pet Mobile Vet. She specializes in palliative care and in-home euthanasia. I can't say enough good things about her. She was tender with my sweet Zoey, took my calls when I was debating if it was "time" and told me what signals to look for, gave me plenty of time during the process, and even was great with my other cats.   I've used http://www.belovedpetmobilevet.com/ for home care but know she also does euthanasia. Dr. Lynn Hendrix has great energy. I'm sorry. This kind of thing is so freaking hard.
