  Hi everyone! I was wondering which veterinarian(s) in the Kansas City area you recommend for adrenal implants. My oldest, Aleister, is showing signs of adrenal disease, but our vet up here in Iowa doesn't have much experience putting in the implants, and I would much rather take him to someone who has done this procedure many times before. Preferably in JoCoKS We had a vet in Olathe that we liked, but she moved and another vet in that office will see lizards, but it's not his specialty like the previous doc. We'd really prefer to find someone that's not part of a "hospital" but has a smaller independent office like the vet we take our dogs to. We like that we can go to that vet, they know us, we know them. The place in Olathe is much larger with multiple vets and it's just not the same. Specifically, we have a bearded dragon.

  I don't have a lizard but I love Mariposa Veterinary Wellness Center in Lenexa, KS. I live in Missouri but I still make the drive to take my dog there because they are excellent. Very caring people. According to their website, Dr. Burcham handles reptiles. I don't know if that's her specialty though. http://www.mariposavet.com/
