We've also used Westchester Animal Clinic, Dr Reed, who is again very busy. I've heard New Prairie Animal Hospital is good. And they are only 10 minutes down the road.   I need some advice/suggestions. My Lady girl is a Pit/Boxer mix... She is sick and wasting away before my eyes. We've had her to the vet who can't tell us what is necessarily wrong and have medication that they weren't sure would help and unfortunately it didn't. No matter what I do she continues to decline in health and my heart is breaking because it's obvious that I must put her down. If I don't I fear she will continue to suffer and die suffering instead of peacefully. The problem is that my family is in such a horrible spot right now I really can't afford it. Does anyone know of a vet/clinic that might be able to help? I love her so much that I can't continue to allow her to stay in this condition and after a couple of months of trying I feel as if I've failed her though I know there's not much more I could do.

  1 219-393-3558. Dr dorrah is who u want to see... used 17.yrs... he will be honest on what needs done..they also offer a way to sign up for like a pet ins card to help cover bills... but if declined he may give u advice for stuff at home
