  Looking for Vet that makes house-calls to treat a large potbelly pig. If anyone knows of a Vet that will come to New Ipswich I would really appreciate any advice. Also, is there anyone skilled with giving intramuscular injections to a pig? We were instructed to administer penicillin but it's been a bit tricky and any local help would be most appreciated. This is a pet that we love and we need help. We've tried several vets and they all say we are too far. Transporting the pig is a last resort, which is why we're looking for a vet that will come to us.

  I used Mountain View with my goats (I live in Greenville), he's awesome. Very very nice man. 603-654-7237. There's also McGee Equine in Townsend that came out once, he's trained mostly in large farm animals, horses & cows but he can do basics like shots for pigs & goats, he's usually much busier though & I didn't find him quite as pleasant to deal with.
