  Help needed from all experienced runners please. As a newbie to this world of running I went in the shops to buy a new pair of running shoes but left empty handed after being over welmed by the huge choices and specs that i had no idea if i needed or not.Can someone recomend either a brand,or shop where i an get some decent running shoes.Are there special shops where runners can have their correct size measured for a good fit?   Im no expert but I went to Birmingham Runner in Shirley. You run on a treadmill & they tell you what shoe is best for you. I had the choice of about 5 pairs then. Much easier!

  I would recommend Birmingham Runner too. They will sort you out and have something in all price brackets too. The sales team are runners and know what they're talking about. X
