The first stage will be designing a dress. MEE offers a free consultation which entails meeting at a place and time which suits you best. Several sketches will then be produced with accompanied fabrics for you to choose from. This is the time to bring along any photos or ideas you may have. A quote will then be given and a £50 non refundable deposit will have to be paid if you decide to go ahead.
The next stage is called a 'Toile'. This French term describes the process of creating a mock up of the dress in unbleached cotton. This stage is used to create a perfect fit. You can use this stage to ensure the dress is exactly as you wish.
In the next fittings you will be able to try on your own dress in your chosen fabrics. This is the time to bring along the shoes you will be wearing and any other accessories you have to try on to complete your look.
For bridal wear only your final fitting will be approximately 2 weeks before your wedding. This final stage can be used as a wedding morning practice. I will teach whomever you have chosen to help you into the dress how so as to ensure you are the epitome of elegance as you walk down the aisle.
