  We've been dreaming of a cabin for years. On the way home from Florida we stopped in Blue Ridge and fell in love. We are planning on a neihborhood/area scouting, cabin looking trip early December. Coming from Nashville so we need convenience to get back and forth. Mountain views, rentable area (to help pay for it), and family friendly (hoping to have family group vacations). Any help, suggestions, things to look out for, etc. would be appreciated. So anxious to have a foot in the area very soon. NO more realtor suggestions, please! That's not why I posted. As a realtor myself I know it has a different spin answer than real people who looked or live in the area themselves.
