EAC in Gilbert is great too. In toad cases, go with closer as it is considered an emergency cause those suckers are highly toxic. You have to watch out for the Bufo family of toads AKA Colorado river toad/ Sonoran desert toad. They're large >6", greenish to grey with a white underbelly, large whitish warts near their jaw, and pretty smooth skin for what you would consider on a toad. If your pet has a run in with one, irrigate their mouth with a lot of water before heading in to help rinse some of the toxins away. Symptoms are almost instantaneous and start with foaming, drooling, etc., and will progress to neurological signs. Not something to mess with.
