  We are in the process of getting our home ready to sell, we think we have an agent ready to go but just wondering if anyone on here has any recommendations of good / bad experiences and agents or even going it alone and doing it ourselves. Is Auction the best way? Are there any flat rate agents? And or hidden costs. If you do it yourself who did you use as an auctioneer? Weston Creek area. PM me please.

  The Real Estate Shop use the Jennings System - an ethical, transparent, no hidden fees, no catches open method to buying and selling eeal estate. Other real estate agents tell you that you need to spend thousands on advertising- even the 'for sale sign' can be VERY costly! I like that The Real Estate Shop don't expect you to pay for expensive marketing (except an All Homes listing) because, as they explain, they are SUPPOSED to be the experts and have the buyers lined up for you. I also like that they don't do open homes and everyone coming to view your home is a prequalified legitimate buyer (not nosey neighbours). www.realestateshop.com.au
