  I think rspca help with up to 100-150 if really urgent but u would have to ring them cuz that was a couple of years ago I heard of that.

  In support of the vets they do have to study for many many years and though some are very expensive there are a few that aren't as bad or will help re paying in installments etc. Do try and call the rspca and they should be able to point you in the right direction. There are loads of reasons why an animal might not be covered so this may not be an option. I should ignore all the small minded so called adults on this page and take some pride in the fact that you are seeking help from a vet rather than leaving an animal to suffer as so many do because they 'can't afford to take them'.

  You will find the RSPCA always ready to help with vets/fees if you are really desperate but they are pushed pretty hard.

  I am looking for some advice. Whilst walking my dog last night I came across a very small pheasant chick ( mum sadly deceased, as I did find her as well ) with a badly broken leg. Luckily I have a few day old chickens under a heat lamp, but the poor little mite does need vet care. Where would be the best Vet for wild birds local to take it too?
