Short Term Auto Liability Insurance I'm going to be renting a car in the US for about 10 days. I do not own a car, and do not have my own insurance at the moment. I just spoke with my previous insurer, and they say they don't do short-term policies. I've seen mention of these online, and I wonder if anyone has any experience with or recommendations for short term liability coverage for rental cars, which doesn't require you to have your own vehicle.
I have a damage waiver through my credit card. I only need liability coverage
Supplemental liability insurance offered through the rental car companies (the ones I've looked at that have it at all) nearly doubles the price of the rental.

I like to use vipcars.com to rent cars in the USA. The cars come with full insurance.
No forums found for Chiangmai... Looking to rent a private car for 5 people from 31st to evening on the 2nd. SUVs preffered. No driver needed. Any leads are most appreciated. Car rental places are booked. Thanks!

Their website has all the details :-) www.vipcars.com
Albar (dollar thirfty) in Hafai was great but Albar in jlem was kind of awful. You could also try vipcars.com -- at my friend's suggestion I have used them. You can find good deals but you don't know who are you are booking with until after the fact. Edan 3 years ago in Haifa was fine. I think bugdet in Jlem was fine too (the one off of david hamelech)
