  Not based in Crowthorne, but the best places we ever went to were: 1. Portsmouth Historic Dockyards, they had Santa and his elves in a grotto below decks on one of the old ships, Warrior - magical! Not sure if he's visiting this year, but definitely a great day out for your 4 year old! Wonderful place: http://www.historicdockyard.co.uk/events/event1308.php 2. The other place (a little closer, up the A3 near Cobham) was the Grotto at Painshill Park BEAUTIFUL place any time of year, but they have a real grotto, and the Santa trip there was lovely... you have to wander through the park to find him, it is gorgeous: http://www.painshill.co.uk/santas-crystal-grotto/
