Lake District - Travel Recommendation Hi Reddit London and UK. I would like to do a little short trip with a couple of friends to Lake District over Easter. We are looking for a nice cottage or B&B in a stunning landscape near the water where you can do some nice hikes and photo sessions during the day and hang around in a nice place in the evening. Are there any parts you could recommend? We are planning to take a train from London and then hire a car from a local car rental service.

I don't know where the water is, but if you love food then this is the B&B where I ate some of the best meals I've ever had: http://www.veggielakelandliving.co.uk/
