You might also want to check out offerings by Wilderness Medical Associates (WMA) and the Stonehearth Open Learning Center (SOLO). Along with NOL's WMI, they make up the big three and openly exchange recertification, etc. WMA is an outgrowth of Outward Bound. I know WMA is on the web at http://www.wildmed.com , and suspect SOLO is too. I would guess that Camp Minnewanca will have WMA in again for training in late May. They are in Shelby MI, north of Muskegon a ways. But that training will be for Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and 8 days in length. That is the standard most outdoor action oriented camps are now requiring of their staff. Siler
