To reddit drinkers. Just discovered the taste of a good whiskey, where to go now? I worked 3yrs in a specialist wine store manager. Reckon i knew the best, until a friend gave me a 12 yr old bottle of Jameson, amazing. So far have tried Bushmills, Red Breast 12yro,Johnnie Walker Black, and Ardbeg sinle malt. For the first time I'm completely out of my depth with alchohol, can anyone recommend a good whiskey to try?

Laphroaig - so very very peaty. You can smell it from a mile off! And they do really good deals. [Homepage](http://www.laphroaig.com/) If your'e really wanting to explore whisky then try [The Scotch Malt Whisky Society](http://www.smws.co.uk/)
