  I would avoid the area from Harrahs to Ballys as there is much construction. Planet Hollywood is a good choice. It's Christmas and there may be a few deals. Check the hotels Facebook pages and websites. As well check smartervegas.com and Las Vegas Advisor. A good message board to ask questions is www.vegasmessageboard.com.
