Have any of you hired a shipping company when buying a car out of state? How did it work and go? Recommended companies? Good and bad experience?

I bought a Trans Am in 2010 that was about 700 miles away and had Wise Auto Transport arrange the delivery. Their website has been replaced with another.https://aatls.com/how-it-works/faqs/. Wise just acted as a broker, but my car arrived on time and the transaction was very simple. I think I paid about $1/mile. What I learned, travel and make the selection and purchase in person, and ship if you have to. I bought mine off craigslist and the car ran great, but the sell really overstated the paint condition.
