Derek B. replied:For Cassandra Leach Harwood-Jones: Sounds to me like either the Backlight or LCD Screen itself is defective. Either way a part would need to be ordered in order to replace the defect. Unless the retail seller or manufacturer repairs it, this would be a parts and labour charge to you. So since it is brand new under warranty, I would recommend contacting the place of purchase to have it resolved. Having a 3 rd party repair it, will most likely void any warranty, and you shouldn't really be repairing a brand new item before even getting to use it. www.facebook.com/bennettfixedit
