Looking for Veterinarian recommendations (North Side) I will be getting a puppy in October - finally came off the waiting list with a new litter at a breeder I love. I've already got all the puppy supplies and pet training lined up; but I am looking for a recommendation for a Vet! I live on the far north side (McConachie), so someone downtown or north side would be ideal. What I am looking for in a vet - someone who is reliable, compassionate and who charges a reasonable amount for services. Do you have a Vet that you absolutely love?

Best one near you is the [Hermitage Vet clinic](http://hermitagevet.com/) on 50 st/130 ave. I have used them for years and they are great. Avoid the vet in Hollick Kenyon (next to Sobeys).
Does anyone know of a good place for dog boarding where it is grass outside not pavement? I need a place for my puppy loves to go for a weekend next month. Thanx in advance.

My fiancee and I take our animals to Hermitage Veterinary Hospital (http://www.hermitagevet.com/) for the past 5 ish years. All of our cats we've gotten from the Edmonton Humane Society and when we mention taking them there they have no problems/questions. Always have had excellent service, and the vets/vet techs care about our critters. 5050 130 Ave NW is the address, it's right by the cheap movie theatre.
