  Hi everyone! I'm new here. My husbands job is moving us to Nashville in January and I'm looking to make some real food connections before we move. I feel like in starting from scratch since I have my real food and pasture raised food sources all lined up here in Southern California. We are looking to rent when we first get there but hoping for a place with a little land for a garden and chickens. While my husband is from Clarksville he doesn't know the in's and outs of Nashville or good places to live (affordable) and away from any gmo farm areas. Anyone have any input that may help?

  Franklin and Brentwood are good places to live. There is lots of access to real food in this area. The Franklin farmers market at The Factory every Saturday morning from eight until 12 noon is incredible. It's Williamson County where the schools are good too. Generally it's a little expensive but sometimes you can find good deals. It's an awesome place to live and I highly recommend it. Also have you been to my website, www.tennesseansforrawmilk.com? On there you can find access to raw dairy in all the areas around Tennessee.
