  Hey everyone! Anyone familiar with backpacking in Kauai? I am backpacking the trail Kalalau trail in late February. Our dates changed and now we have to fill a couple of extra days. We are thinking about backpacking and/or car camping in Waimea Canyon. Does anyone have any suggestions on trails? Where to go? Where to stay? Suggestions on informative websites?

  I'm doing the Kalalau trail next weekend. We're going to camp on the Polihale beach one night then do this hike (after you drive past the cabin). This hike is also a must http://www.kauaiexplorer.com/hiking_kauai/awaawapuhi_hike.php
