Jeb R. asked:Now hear this . . . The father of the landlord of a local friend of mine recently died. The funeral is on the 29th - in Oakland, California. He's very down because he doesn't think he can afford to go. Is there anybody near there who could put up a good friend of a friend for a few days? None of his family has space, and hotels are crazy expensive. He's a really good guy. Airfare is bad enough, plus add a rental car and hotel...
