About us
Welcome to a new type of Veterinary Practice, we will treat your pets as if they were our own in spacious high-tech surroundings. In the most modern facilities we aim to provide the best Veterinary treatment available from people who really care.
A brand new independent family run veterinary practice, Oak Barn Veterinary Centre opened its doors on 17th October 2011 in a beautiful Grade II listed, restored tithe barn. Despite its traditional appearance the barn contains a full surgical suite containing some of the latest high tech equipment; digital x-rays both full body and portable dental, in house ultrasound and laboratory facilities. Not only does this enable us to give your pets the best care possible but we can also allow a rapid turnaround on results, often while you wait in our spacious waiting room.
Separate dog and cat kennelling on different floors of the barn, combined with glass partitions and an access all areas policy means that space and natural light flood the area. This creates a calm, soothing and inviting environment to visit.
There is ample free parking with a gift shop to spoil yourselves as well as your pets. With everything you would expect from your vets and so much more. We set out to achieve that elusive experience - namely that it is possible to have a thoroughly enjoyable experience when visiting a veterinary practice.
