  I'm needing a vet recommendation. I have two Shih Tzu dogs, one geriatric. Before moving, I was with the same vet for 16 years. He was a dream. Loved animals, was an excellent surgeon, but super conservative in his recommendations. He was very sensitive to not running up ridiculous bills and always offered different paths to treat illnesses. Anybody come close?

  I concur about dr. Cailleteau at Sierra Madre animal hospital. He is really sweet. A bit pricey, but close by, which is important with an older pet. Www.sierramadreanimalhospital.com

  I can also recommend Sierra Madre Animal hospital. We have two dogs each with special needs that he's been extremely helpful with. I've also been to Rose City down on Foothill in Pasadena and I liked them pretty well too. They have quite a facility down there.

  I too am a fan of Dr. Cailleteau at Sierra Madre Animal Hospital. I think he gives good advice and options. I haven't tried a lot of vets, but he's been the least expensive of the few. And I love the fact that I can walk my dogs to the doctor, which calms them down and keeps the hair outta my car!.
