  This is my favourate Ryokan.. very reasonable prices, traditional wooden build with Japanese style tatami rooms in arguably the most significant cultural area of Tokyo (Asakusa). http://www.libertyhouse.gr.jp/ The guy that runs it speaks very good English and is helpful. This part of town is not party central like Shinjuku or Shibuya though, but it's a must see.
