About us
Perth And District Hillwalking Club runs Day Meets once a month, normally on the first Sunday of the month. We travel by bus, anything up to one hundred miles to avoid repeatedly walking in the same areas.
Graded walks are put on each month. These vary from valley walks of as little as six miles to much more demanding expeditions climbing two or more Munros (hills over 3000 ft) and involving anything up to approximately twenty miles walking on the longest summer outings.
Members are expected to choose walks that are within their own physical capabilities.
We also plan a number of weekend meets where members use their own cars for transport usually staying in a Youth Hostel or other outdoor centre.
