  Anyone hear of an allergist who will go above and beyond skin tests and blood work to know that a kid has an allergy? DD had a partial tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy early Oct '12. Since she's had 2 ear infections, 1 ruptured ear drum, 2 strep. (DS is my allergic child) Lately, she's been having hives on and off that past few weeks... can it be an allergy lets say to milk, but won't show up in the usual testing that can be causing this? I know if I take something away it can backfire and become anaphylactic... need some advice.

  Food ingredients and processing can change from one batch to another. If you can take samples of the individual items that you suspect to someone who can do a 'weak list' you will get some useful information that can keep you safe.
