Any recommendations for Pediatricians open outside the 9am-5pm hours? Anywhere in NoVa or DC?
I recently moved here and it baffles me how I haven't been able to find a place which doesn't require me to take a handful of days off work for newborn visits.
EDIT: I found a few open on Saturday for a few hours but they seem to be on an urgent need.

http://www.cmanva.com Hands down the best pediatricians around! They have two offices one in Alexandria and one near GMU in fairfax. They are open until 7:30 on weekdays (one office at a time stays open late so it depends on the day). Nurses answer the phone so if you have a quick question you don't need to leave a message and wait two hours for someone to call you back. But best of all and the reason we switched is they have an very good vaccination policy, basically unless you are immune compromised they will not let you skip or delay vaccines!
Can anyone recommend a good pediatrician near Del Ray? We are expecting our first in March and just want to be ready. Thanks,
Children's Medical Associates. They have an office at Little River Turnpike and Beauregard. We've been with them for 7 years. A LOT of people in the neighborhood use them. They have nurses answer the phones and have weekend appointments. You never wait more than a couple of minutes in the waiting room. We usually see Melissa Goldblatt, who is one of their Nurse Practitioners. I think the NPs schedule appointments for 40 minutes, the Drs. for 30. The only issue I've ever had is I feel that the two times we saw Dr. Tae, she rushed the appt. They'll meet with you now and explain their practice philosophy, policies and procedures. www.cmanva.com
I'm looking for a pediatrician in Northern, VA. I'm not incredibly picky about where, but really want someone who is very common sense driven and caring (I will be someone who calls with questions)!! Recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated!!
I am looking for a pediatrician practice for my baby who will be born in a couple of months. I am looking for a practice open to discussing delaying and deviating from the standard APA vaccination...
Children's Medical Associates. I just had my first child and have been there for several visits already and I love them! I have seen 3 different doctors and 3 different nurse practitioners/lactation consultants and they were all amazing. They were really friendly and all really took their time with me to answer my millions of questions, explain things, etc. They are also flexible in letting you decide on immunizations and appointments. They have office hours M-F all day and Saturday and Sunday mornings. The doctors even call and follow up with you after you have been in for a problem. They're great! http://www.cmanva.com/ Michelle
