Hi there! My name is Dawn and these are my grippy knee leg warmers for babies. The following is just a little bit about myself, my family and my inspirations for making these. You see I have 3 sisters (yes my poor dad...4 daughters) and 3 out of the 4 of us had babies this year. 3 Girls and 1 Boy. Claire, the over achiever, had twin girls Leia and Lana, Melanie had sweet petite Kyleigh and I had a little chuncker by the name of Hunter. 4 Babies came within 6 months, and brought on a whole new world for my family. Poor Jamie, our youngest sister, is just trying to survive the instant influx of new people to spoil rotten...and avoid touching a diaper or spit up at all costs.
Anyways there are two main reasons for my creations. The first being the twins. Crawling around a house filled with hardwood floors, ceramic tiles, and a slobbery Saint Bernard has proven to be quite tricky. Claire made a request for some leg warmers to protect their little knees from the debris of everyday life when they are crawling around without pants, while the grippy knees also stopped a constant face plant situation when their pants make them slip along the floors. (The leg warmers can also be worn on top of pants to stop the knees from thinning out on your favourite little jeans)
My second reason is little Miss Kyleigh who was recently hospitalized and required an IV in her foot. Most baby pyjamas have attached feet which makes keeping an IV in your foot rather difficult. Being in the hospital for 10 days with one leg in and one leg out of pyjamas was not an option for comfort so insert legwarmers here. Kyleigh was able to have warm legs and a sock on the opposite foot.
I must also add that a few comments about how easy it is to change a bum without removing pants have come through, and that seems to be a hit!
I hope you enjoy the fun prints and hand painted knee grips. These are after all for all the little legs of our lives!
Anyone know where I can find leg warmers for a 5yr old girl? she LOVES leg warmers and I haven't had any luck finding any.

Is there anyone in town that could make this vinyl decal to go on a reusable starbucks cup? (just the sticker that goes around the starbucks logo, not the lids) Thanks in advance!
