  Looking for recommendations for local affordable tax preparer. I have always done my own but have to do a part year Indiana return with an Illinois employer and it's pretty confusing for me since I've never done these split year and split State returns. I don't care for the places like H&R Block..I think they are crooks in general and charge people way too much to do their taxes, I would prefer someone that is certfied and works independently of those big companies.
