  Grist Mill is a "special occasion" destination for us. Went there for 25 th and 30 th anniversaries (and in-between, too!) Yes it is a bit pricey but the portions are enormous and the food is sooo good, very traditional. Mountain Brauhaus is old-school German and also delish, has been around for decades.

  The food at the Mountain Brauhaus is excellent as well. It's less formal and very busy. When we go there we get there for an early dinner at 4:00 PM or you have to wait to be seated. The 4 of us can eat for the price of 2 at the Grist Mill. Not the same experience as the Grist Mill but a little easier on my wallet.
