I need HELP! I bought a wedding dress without trying it on or seeing it in person because there was no bridal store in or around TN that had it to try on first and they would not order one for me to try on... I even went to NY to try and find something "similar" to try on. My problem is that there are things I need to change on it like the body style. I need more than someone to alter it, I need someone who can change the style of the body so I guess someone that is a master seamstress.... I looked on line and have gone to visit with a few alteration places but they mostly do hems and that sort of thing. Do any of you HIP people know someone that can help me and point me in the right direction?????

DeNeal DeAngelo at http://www.carringtonscouturealterations.com is located in Mt, Juliet and did a great job with my daughter's prom dress. She specializes in formal wear and I know she designs, alters wedding attire as well.
I need a good alterations person who has some tailoring skills such that he or she can take in a jacket at the shoulder and bust. This is my "mother of the groom" suit and I'd like it to look a little more fitted than it does. Can anyone recommend someone who has more skill than just hemming or putting in a zipper.

Can anyone recommend someone in the Hermitage area that does good quality, reasonably priced alterations? I need a bridesmaid dress hemmed, and I'd rather not drive all the way back out to Bridal Warehouse!
