  I really like Dr. Thomas W. Covault in Valpo on Rt 30, near Stracks. (219) 462-5599 I've not been to another local vet, so I can't compare costs. However, he's very knowledgeable, is patient and takes the time to explain everything, and his appointments are called on time.
