About us
Hello Forest Grove and Surrounding areas. Welcome to Sugar Mommas Bake Shop. We are a Mom and Daughter family owned bakery.
My name is Michelle Honeman. I graduated Oregon Culinary Institute in 2013. I then interned with Artisan Cake Company and was taught the craft of Specialty 3D sculpted cakes while using special effect to make the edible incredible. During my time there we won Oregon Best Bride was featured on Food Networks 'Outrageous Wedding cakes". and since have filmed for future shows. And don't plan on stopping there.
It is my mission to supply our community with special one of a kind cakes that not only LOOK amazing and one of a kind, BUT TASTE even better.My culinary education taught be that simple wholesome ingredients speak for themselves and everything we bake is made from scratch.
My mother Kim Honeman has owned a little café out west. During that time she made everything from scratch and had developed some of her own special family recipes. Raising 4 kids on a ranch quality food was still very important and I remember we never went without fresh bread, cookies and cake breads.She is our head baker and Artisan Bread maker.
Together we would like to welcome you to Sugar Mommas Bake Shop. We are excited to be apart of this amazing community and bringing something sweet into your lives..
