I have a great driving record, no claims, good credit, a paid off car, etc. Geico is coming in at about $150 below Progressive, although I've heard horror stories about their customer service. Has anyone been able to find that magical insurance company that doesn't hike up the rates $100 every time you renew? Does anyone recommend an independent insurance broker/agent? I'm aware this is all probably futile since rates in LA are out of control, but I'm trying to cover my bases before coughing up another $900.
