Any recommendations for National Trust places/properties within 2 hours drive of High Wycombe that will be ok/entertaining for 2 young children please? (Not Cliveden, Greys Court or Hughenden as done those) Thanks in advance.

I can highly recommend Mary Arden's Farm, just outside Stratford-Upon-Avon (70 miles away). Step back in time 450 years to see what life was like for Tudor country folk when Shakespeare was just a boy. With rare breed animals, Tudor cooking and Tudor dancing, there is a full day of activities. It's not a NT property, but the ticket lasts all year, and you may even decide to visit some of the other Shakespeare Birthplace Trust properties. http://www.shakespeare.org.uk/visit-the-houses/mary-ardens-farm.html
