Does anyone have a reproductive endocrinologist they like in the Baltimore-Washington Area? I would like (FOR ONCE!) to find a specialist who knows about blood sugar and PCOS!

when i was living there my endo was dr. krug 410.601.5961 she was the only endo in the area who was specialized in pcos. she was highly recommended by my doc at johns hopkins and my doc at shady grove i.c. in columbia. she has pcos her self. i was 202 at my highest wt. i am now 114. i have kept if off ever since. when i was pg i was told i could only gain 20. i gained 22. the problem with a regular endo is they are great for a normal diabetic but pcos has a lot more to it. the "cocktail" takes a while to get to what works for your body. the cocktail is b.c.pills to help regulate. altactone to keep the testosterone low. metformin because we are pre diabetic. lots of test every 3 months to see where you are. once you find what works for you the wt slide rt off. but you have to live like a diabetic. good luck !!
